This visual representation is one of my favourites. I too struggled with my emotions for a long time and I feel so deeply for White every time he opens up and if nearly breaks him
He wanted White to talk to him but now that White’s doing it he’s short circuiting lol. This isn’t the White he knows, it’s deviating from the norm. This is unchartered territory for him and it’s forcing him to think. (unless his mind spiraling blocks out White’s questions)
not to mention he thinks so little of himself that he’s not sure he can be there for White the same way he has been for him for years. short circuiting is a such a good way to describe Black’s state.
Two childhood friends—Black, an emotional fashion designer with selective amnesia, and White, a rational writer who’s been absent for two years—reunite to confront their traumatic pasts and navigate the fragile space between heart and mind as they struggle to preserve their friendship on the brink of adulthood.

Thank you! It’s a hard thing to do but on the long run, worth it. hopefully.

Oops I read this from the wrong perspective lol. My bad
But what I said still stands I think. Just for White and not Black. He’s deviating from his norms. He’s the one short circuiting
